TheGuy is a mashup artist who is known for being a recurring contributor and team member to the recordcollector1972 channel ever since the Music - Topic period.

TheGuy's earliest known contribution to the channel was "Panic! at the Disco - I Write Sins Not Tragedies (Single) (HQ Audio)", uploaded on April 14, 2018. TheGuy was mostly known on the channel for making a lot of the "fusion collab" FLACs, such as "Ariana Grande - Ghostin (HQ Audio)". Around 2020, TheGuy stopped donating to the channel for unknown reasons. However, he would later make the FLAC "Eminem - Without Me (The Emoji Movie Soundtrack Version) (Remastered) (HQ Audio)", a remake of "Eminem - Without Me (The Emoji Movie Soundtrack Version) (HQ Audio)" which was initially uploaded on May 18, 2021, but wouldn't be made public until August 4, 2021.
