Well, it has all come to this. Many things have happened throughout my journey here. I have met good associates who helped me by my side, learned a lot more about the music community, got to listen to some kickin' tunes. Heck, I even got a few good laughs from the jokes. However, as we all know, not everything lasts forever. Therefore, for the sake of myself, I decided that I'll be leaving this wiki for the unseeable future. Now, I know that my reasoning that follows might come off as unprofessional to most, but bear with me.
The first reason for this is that I already have many things in my life that I have to do. One of the more important things to me is, well, attending high school (yes, I'm a minor). I've been a part of the ripping community since about the beginning of 2020, and only figured out about RC1972's existence around summer time. This has been a problem that I've been dealing with this whole time: Balancing out working on this wiki and dealing with my personal struggles. This problem usually gets so bad that sometimes, when I go on here, I have this idea at the back of my head saying "I could be doing something so much better with my freetime." As I might've stated before, my dream is to become a professional cartoonist, & I've been trying to focus on that dream more and more over time. Let's be honest, I don't want to be always known as the guy who's been leaving edits upon edits on Wikia articles for ripping channels.
Another reason is due to an increasing lack of interest. Now, don't get me wrong, I still like the ripping community, and I still have plans on sharing my rip ideas with them, but I don't have the same amount of interest in the community that I had back then. It mainly has to do with all the changes that happen throughout it. Not to mention all of the drama, leavings, and other happenings within the backrooms of these kinds of channels. It just leaves me with negative feelings that I would rather NOT have. That's why my first order of business was to lay off this wiki, which led me to making, well, this post.
In conclusion, I just leave you people the following messages: Thank you all so very much for helping me get this once dead site back on its feet, and thanks also for withstanding all of my behavior. I've appreciated most of our cool interactions very much. Maybe one day, we can all meet up again, and have a grand old time.

P.S. If you're ever on Netflix, go watch Aggretsuko. It's a great show, 10/10, would watch again.
By the way, what happened with the "upload" info box. It looks a bit funny.
"I've come to make an announcement..."
Hello everyone. I'm Navid_d, the new wiki manager, and I wanted to tell you about the new changes to the wiki.
The "Upload" template:
The new "Upload" template will be used instead of "Normal Upload V4". Hopefully, this template is not confusing and is easy to use.
If you still find it confusing, you can click the link at the top of new pages that says: "For a ready template, click here", and you will be given a page with the template already typed in.
Please note the following:
The new template doesn't need the full video URL. It only needs the special part after "watch?v=".
Donors don't need to have "[[ ]]" around them. The template links to the donor's page automatically, and putting those around donor's name will cause issues with the next note.
You don't have to manually put categories at the bottom. Categories such as "[[Category:Tracks]]" or "[[Category:Donated by X]]" or "[[Category:Recordcollection: X]]" will be generated automatically. You only need to add categories for jokes, such as "[[Category:Mashups]]" or "[[Category:FLACs featuring Die Young]]".
Joke categories:
Names of the categories have been changed from "Tracks featuring" and "Tracks with" to "FLACs featuring" and "FLACs with".
Also please don't make unnecessary joke categories.
Artist template:
For artists that are featured in the channel, you can use the template "Artist". An example of it can be seen in the template page, and another example can be seen at "100 gecs" category.
Listing jokes featured on the channel:
For jokes that are featured on the channel, if the joke is a song from an artist, please add it to the artist's category, and if the artist doesn't have a category, please use "List of media featured in FLACs".
That's all for now. If you have any suggestions or any problems with anything, feel free to post a message on my message wall.
Thank you and have a great day.
I am currently the third person making this post. Dyseminate tried to adopt the wiki, but his request was rejected. Dorkshove also made a post about it, but he doesn't seem too keen about it, so I'm making one as well:
Are you guys ok with me adopting the wiki?
Navid told me I had to do this in order to adopt the wiki. How do you guys feel about me adopting the wiki. Personally I think it would be really cool and epic. Thanks.
If I adopted this wiki would that be cool with you guys?
Also, here's a cool picture of the guy from Weezer.
I hope everyone's enjoying the rips already uploaded, and i hope everyone enjoys the rips to come

I wonder if there is going to be any FLACs this year.
Je me demande s'il va y avoir des FLAC pour cette année.
Should the transcript section accurately display any spelling mistakes, all-lowercase sentences, and uncensored swear words or should they be edited for easier syntax?
Am I the only one who's still using this wikia. I'm the only person who is here right now.
my name jeff
Oh(who made this btw? just wondering)
